Great entertainment is lined up at the Mission of Nombre de Dios; starting Friday at 5:00 pm until Sunday at 10:30 pm.
You are invited to come enjoy local entertainment and put on those dancing shoes during the celebration April 18-20, 2008.
Thursday, April 17, the festival is offering a “2 ride for the price of 1” with Advance Ride Tickets ordered on the Cathedral Festival Website.
One part of this year’s festival is a 20,000 square foot outdoor flea market featuring 3 days of bargains, specials, and items not found in anyone else’s closet, garage, storage shed, or unused cubby hole. Some items available include books, furniture, fixtures, bikes and records.
Entertainment scheduled to appear includes StorySide:B, Frankie and the West End Boys, Cloud 9, Mark Dobie, High Water, Spanky, Latin Impact, JR Roberts, Steffanie Renae, Jim Asselta, DJ Jim Willever, Red River Band and a live auction on stage.
This year promises the biggest fireworks show ever, visible from all sites at the festival on Saturday Night, April 19th at 9:00 PM.
Sunday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m (or until sold out) the festival will offer a fried shrimp dinner — also available for take out.
Admission Charge: $3.00 ages 7-12 – $5.00 13 & over. The Cathedral Festival benefits Cathedral Parrish School and the Cathedral Parish Early Learning Center.
