Davis Shores Neighborhood Park groundbreaking

Historic City News is pleased to announce that members of the St. Augustine City Commission will lead a groundbreaking ceremony to officially mark the start of construction of the city’s newest park, the Davis Shores Neighborhood Park.

The ceremony is set for Monday, November 24th at 11:00 a.m.

The public is invited to attend the brief ceremony at the park’s location at the intersection of Anastasia Blvd. and Red Cox Dr.

The new recreational area is a triumph of public and private partnership with the $375,000 needed to make the park a reality coming from several sources including the State of Florida, St. Johns County, the City of St. Augustine and many, many local residents and businesses.
