Is there an article on file of why there are three top positions open and being advertised in the St. Johns County Growth Management Services Department?
We looked and found the following information on the county website:
Current Employment Opportunities
As of Monday, October 06, 2008, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners is accepting applications for the following positions.
GROWTH MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR – GROWTH MANAGEMENT SERVICES
St. Johns County Growth Management Services seeks a candidate to direct the operations and personnel of the Growth Management Department.
Pay Grade – 133 Pay Range – $81,224. to $118,328.
ENVIRONMENTAL DIVISION DIRECTOR – ENVIRONMENTAL
St. Johns County Environmental Division seeks a candidate to identify, analyze and provide recommendations for action on significant environmental management issues affecting the County.
Pay Grade – 129 Pay Range – $67,282. to $98,018.
DEVELOPMENT REVIEW DIVISION DIRECTOR – DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
St. Johns County Development Review Division seeks a candidate to coordinate and facilitate work of County functions dealing with development approval and compliance.
Pay Grade 130 Pay Range – $70,647. to $102,920.
We were not aware of any “shake up” int the Growth Management Services Department, however, the new budget year started on October 1st and there are apparently some changes in the wings. We are supposedly under a “hiring chill” so we can only assume that these positions are the result of reassignments, resignations, or retirements.
