Merrill Paul Roland qualifies for office
Historic City News learned that after today’s “Meet the Candidate” forum at the county auditorium, Merrill Paul Roland crossed the street and went to the Supervisor of Elections office.
We were informed that Roland completed the paperwork and paid the $ 2,443.08 qualifying fee and is now officially eligible to appear on the ballot for the District 1 seat in the November 4th general election for St. Johns County Board of Commissioners.
Roland said, “As an independent candidate, I want to give the voters a choice that sets me apart from the present all partisan commission.”
