Coquina Veterans have invited several other veterans groups to meet and hear Sheriff David Shoar on Wednesday, May 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Coquina Crossing community clubhouse.
The Sheriff is scheduled to speak about his office’s role in handling homeless St. Johns County veterans, veterans returning to the workplace and what he sees as law enforcement’s role in assisting veterans.
According to the invitation received by Historic City Media, Shoar will be accompanied by other veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan so that attendees can ask questions about their experiences in the Middle East.
An enjoyable evening is promised with raffles, T-shirt giveaways and refreshments. All are invited, no tickets needed.
