Snoop Dogg, 3 Doors Down, an array of other artists, and 20,000 pounds of crawfish begin their test of our Francis Field venue at 3:00 p.m. today, kicking off a 2-day Crawfish Boil.
Spice things up with a weekend filled with hot music and tasty crawdads in St. Augustine.
Thousands of pounds of crawfish and musical performances by 3 Doors Down, Snoop Dogg, G. Love and Hinder plus Flyleaf, Candlebox, Saving Abel, Corey Smith, buzzing newcomer K’Naan and many others will make this inaugural event one to remember.
Hours are 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. today and 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Saturday.
Tickets for the event are $29.50 a day, $49.50 for both days; VIP tickets $75 and $140.

Security for the event will be tight. As a multitude of food and merchandise vendors were setting up their booths, a Sheriff’s K-9 deputy patrolled the area around the stage just hours before the festival is scheduled to open.
Rules are posted at all entrances listing items that are “OK” and those to which security officers will say “NO”.
Personal cameras, blankets, certain backpacks and binoculars will be allowed; subject to inspection.
Banned items include knives, weapons, drugs and paraphernalia, video cameras, audio recording devices, outside food, beverages and alcohol, glass containers, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, fireworks and explosives, instruments, laser pointers, umbrellas, lawn furniture and pets – except for service animals.
A additional warning sign reads “We have a zero tolerance policy towards violence of any type any incidents will be addressed by the St. Augustine Police Department and event security. Any persons involved in fighting or violent acts will be removed from the site and/or arrested, no exceptions”
