Historic City News has learned that the Flagler Model Land Neighborhood Association will have a chance to air its concerns – height and closeness to the street – when our Planning and Zoning Board (PZB) looks at Flagler College’s plans for a new building on Carrera Street.
PZB will meet June 2 at 2 p.m. In the Alcazar Room at City Hall.
Also on the agenda, consideration of a billboard ordinance to prevent new technology moving script on those highway signs.
The association raised concerns at its recent quarterly meeting. The college plans a revision of its existing Lewis Dormitory Planned Unit Development (PUD), bounded by Carrera, Cordova, Valencia, and Sevilla streets, to redesign parking areas and allow a historically accurate garden area in front of the Wiley House on Valencia.
