Jennifer Hewett-Apperson reported to Historic City News that Reality Check First Coast will be sharing their results and repeating their visioning exercise at County Checks open to all in each of the seven counties in Northeast Florida.
In May, Reality Check First Coast gathered 300 leaders from different parts of the First Coast Region, representing different perspectives, and asked them to construct their vision for growth in the Region.
Region First 2060, the partnership that put on Reality Check First Coast, and the Regional Community Institute of Northeast Florida, Inc., which is creating a regional vision at the request of the Northeast Florida Regional Council, have joined to co-sponsor County Checks.
In St. Johns County, the exercises will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, between 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Agriculture Center located at 3125 Agricultural Center Drive in St. Augustine.
There is no charge to participate, but pre-registration is required. Cookies and drinks will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring a snack to eat during the presentations at the beginning of the exercise.
The program will reveal the results from the leadership exercise, including the principles that Reality Check First Coast recommended to guide our growth as well as the growth patterns they created that could shape our future.
Registration is now open for County Checks at http://www.regi.biz/RCFC_County_Check_Registration.
