Historic City News has been asked to invite everyone to join for the first Lincolnville Community Garden meeting on Tuesday, January 6th, starting at 6:30 p.m. located at the Willie Galimore Center.
This meeting will be an excellent opportunity to gather with neighbors that have similar interests in gardening and in improving our community.
The objective of the meeting is to the discuss the status of the Lincolnville Community Garden and to answer as many questions as we can. Also, there will be sign up list for gardeners that are interested in garden plots.
If you can’t make the meeting but are interested in a garden plot, please e-mails us a short note including your name, address and contact number.
Please note that the sign up sheet that will be available at the meeting or your email reply is not the formal garden application, but more of an informal way to gauge demand so that we can determine the best size for Phase I of the Lincolnville Community Garden. Formal applications will be available after approval for the garden is secure from the City.
