The St. Johns County Chamber Of Commerce reported to Historic City News today that Jacobs, Jacobs & Associates, Inc. was the winner of the membership drive’s grand prize — a cruise for two to the Bahamas on Carnival Cruise Lines.
In addition, four runner-up prizes were awarded, including a two-night getaway to Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando to International Floor Designs Corp., two Benefactor Tickets to THE PLAYERS Golf Tournament in May 2009 to Fisher Hall Promotional Specialties, Inc., two Jaguars Club Seat Tickets to one home game in the 2009 season to Oxford Dental Associates, and dinner for two at Creekside Dinery to Fountain of Youth Spa/Flagler Laser Aesthetics.
The Membership Drive aimed to increase awareness of the Chamber and promote the Chamber’s many programs and services that can be useful during tough economic times. Membership Development Manager Gary Hiatt acted as cruise director and led the drive, with help from the Chamber Ambassadors.
Chamber President Robin Burchfield praised Hiatt’s effort. “Gary Hiatt did a tremendous job of recruiting new and established businesses. We added members from all parts of St. Johns County who can now take advantage of the many programs and services of the chamber.”
