St. Johns County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Jeremy Robshaw reported to Historic City News that firefighters responded to a residential structure fire in the 2300 block of US1 South at approximately 9:15pm last night.
Upon arrival, St. Johns County Fire Rescue Squad and Rescue 5 found a single-wide mobile home heavily involved in fire. Fire crews confirmed the structure was evacuated and began extinguishing the flames and protecting adjacent exposures.
The fire was quickly brought under control and both adjacent exposure structures were protected.
The structure is listed as a total loss with damage estimates unavailable at this time.
There were no injuries reported during this incident and the cause of the fire is under investigation by St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
