The St. Johns County Public Works Department has reported to Historic City News that two projects that will cause minor traffic disruptions in St. Augustine, both beginning on Tuesday, May 26.
First, Masters Drive between Alice Street and Ravenswood Drive will be closed on May 26 to remove low hanging limbs. A detour will direct drivers via Ravenswood Drive, Sprint Street and Alice Street. Questions about the Masters Drive project may be directed to Jeff Pearson at (904) 209-0246.
Secondly, a project to replace several cross culverts on Woodlawn Road will begin May 26 and last through mid-July. During the construction traffic on Woodlawn Road will be disrupted with periodic lane closures. Motorists are asked to plan routes accordingly and exercise caution.
