Sales & Marketing Manager Molly Ebersold told Historic City News local reporters that to celebrate Thanksgiving, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park will offer special animal feeding events and holiday hours.
Zoo visitors will be able to watch the legendary Maximo jump for turkey, alligators munch on chicken and squash and Galapagos tortoises enjoy special Thanksgiving treats.
The zoo will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Alligator feedings take place at noon, while Maximo’s feeding is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on both days.
