Budget Public Hearings

The Board of County Commissioners have informed Historic City News that they will hold the first formal public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2011 budget Tuesday, September 21st at 5:30 pm in the County Auditorium.

The second public hearing and final adoption will be on September 29th also at 5:30 pm in the County Auditorium. We appreciate the public feedback we received at the Town Hall meetings and throughout the year, and these public hearings are another opportunity for you to participate in the budget process.

2010 Tax Notice Help Line – The 2010 Notice of Proposed Taxes, known as TRIM notices, were mailed out by the Property Appraiser beginning last week.

If you have questions about your property’s Market Value, Assessed Value, or Tax Exemptions, contact the Property Appraiser at (904) 827-5500.

For all other questions call the Budget Office at (904) 209-0571. Please include your name, phone number, and specific property address or parcel identification number with your communication and staff will respond within one business day.
