Saint Johns County Chamber of Commerce President Kirk Wendland informed Historic City News local news reporters that the inaugural “Seasonal Blend” event kicked off on Thursday evening December 16th.
St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors volunteered to coordinate the event which was attended by a crowd of more than 250 participants; gathered at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, Inc.
Wendland said, “Seasonal Blend will be held on a quarterly basis at premier locations throughout the county with an event themed for each season.”
Chamber Ambassador Randy Brunson described Seasonal Blend as a networking destination. “This event gives a fresh perspective on making business contacts; in a fun, social setting.”
This season’s event, which took place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., featured access to the keeper’s house and the lighthouse tower.
Lucky Chamber members received exciting door prizes including a Flip UltraHD video camera, a Sunset/Moonrise Evening Tour and a basket of St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, Inc. souvenirs.
The next Seasonal Blend will be held April 28, 2011 and will be hosted by THE PLAYERS Championship.
