Flagler College alumnus Logan Abrams will be making a presentation on his new book, “Debt U: How Higher Education Breeds a Lifestyle of Debt,” on Wednesday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in the Flagler Room at Flagler College. Abrams said that his book addresses the speed at which “normal” students are amassing debt and the powerful effect it has on their lives. “In my book, I tackle the problem of debt head on,” he said. “I’ve included life experiences, anecdotes and startling statistics. It’s an unsettling picture for the future of my generation – and the next group of students who follow.” Abrams wants people to know that his book isn’t all gloom and doom. “I include many types of solutions for almost every issue involving debt,” he said.
