Gamble Rogers 2010 Benefit Concert
14 Granada Street, St. Augustine Phone: 904 794 4163
www.gamblerogersfest.org
Event Pricing: $25 general and $35 VIP
The billing for the concert is a selection of some of Florida’s Finest performers, both young and …shall I say…seasoned! In the “young and exciting category” we will have the Morse Family Band who hale from North Florida and the Men of the House from the Titusville area. Both of these acts are strong beyond my own imagination and wowed the crowds at the Florida Folk Festival this past year. If you remember the years in which the festival brought the Bill’s to town then you have a sense of the dynamic that Men of the House bring to the stage. Also on the bill in the slightly “seasoned” category is Gamble’s friend and local icon Charlie Robertson. Charlie is truly a song writer’s song writer and a unique and charming presence on stage. Finally, the surging duo of Jamie DeFrates and Susan Brown. The jazzy-folkie quality of this rising duo is truly warm and wonderful. It is very hard not to love their style, song writing, and musicality.
