Kenya Kelley reported to Historic City News local St. Johns County news desk that St. Johns River Community College will hold information sessions at the St. Augustine Campus for parents and students interested in their dual enrollment program.
From 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on January 20th, the St. Augustine Campus information session will be held in room J149.
The dual enrollment program provides eligible high school seniors, juniors, and sophomores the opportunity to earn college credit while earning credit toward a high school diploma.
College credits earned through the program are transferable to Florida’s state universities, and tuition and lab fees are free for all dual enrollment students. Classes are offered locally at high schools and at SJRCC’s three campuses.
Sessions for other SJRCC campuses are:
January 19 – Palatka Campus, 5001 St. Johns Ave., Valhalla Hall (Administration Building)
January 21 – Thrasher Horne Conference Center, Suites A & B, Orange Park Campus, 283 College Drive
Public and private high school students as well as home-schooled students are served by this program that was created by Florida Statute 1007.271 and is governed by state law. For more information, contact SJRCC’s dual enrollment office at (386) 312-4136 or visit online at sjrcc.edu.
