Bring the family for a day of outdoor activity and explore some of the best preserved areas where the rivers meet the sea in northeast Florida. Families will collect memories and stamps in their GTM Passport as they walk the trails and learn about animals, habitats and history. COMPANIA DE JUAN PONCE DE LEON
This muster of La Compania de Juan Ponce de Leon (The Company of Juan Ponce de Leon), takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, located on Magnolia Drive in St. Augustine. This heritage event will feature interpretations and demonstrations on the life of Don Juan, his companions, the early Spanish explorers and settlers of Florida and the Caribbean, and the Native Americans they encountered. MENORCAN DAY TEA
Learn more about unique Menorcan customs while enjoying a traditional Menorcan tea. The tea is hosted by three natives who can trace their heritage back through nearly 445 years of St. Augustine history and into antiquity in Spain. These heritage natives portray the city’s Spanish Royal Family – Queen Maria Anna, her son King Carlos, and her daughter Princess Margarita Maria – the royal family of Spain during the construction of the city’s Castillo de San Marcos. 8th ANNUAL PONTE VEDRA BEACH CAR SHOW
See more than 100 classic, custom and antique automobiles at the Nocatee Community Park. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be plenty of food, lively music and vintage autos on display. Judges will determine the winners in categories ranging from ‘Best in Show’ to ‘Longest Distance Traveled to Show’. All entries are welcome, however only pre-1984 cars are eligible for judging. Admission is free. Vehicle pre-registration for classic, custom or antique car is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event.
