The Flagler County Art League (www.flaglercountyartleague.com) will be providing a “Basic Photography Course” at the Florida Agricultural Museum every Saturday in March at 10:00 a.m. beginning March 6th.
Florida Agricultural Museum is located at 7900 Old Kings Road. Sessions are held between 10:00 a.m. and 12 noon.
This class is for the person who just bought a camera and doesn’t know how to use it, right on up to your common shutterbug.
The course will involve subjects such as:
* Exposure
* Depth of Field
* Handling of Moving Objects
* Recording a snapshot for later use (such as a painting)
The classes, held March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and on a bonus day, April 3rd, will be taught by local professional photographer David Millonig and will be open to the public.
Participants will be allowed to photograph areas not normally available to the public.
Cost of the class is a membership to the Agricultural Museum – $20 for individuals or $35 for a family.
The Flagler County Art League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization that generates revenue from its programs and activities as well as community support in the form of contributions, bequests, in-kind donations and grants.
For over 30 years the Flagler County Art League has been providing presentations and discussions for their members and the community. They encourage all artists and those who support the arts, to join them and participate in their activities. They hold monthly meetings on the second Thursday evening of the month from September through May.
