Local government offices will be closed for the Easter holiday.
The City of St. Augustine will be closed for business Friday, April 2nd. All city offices will re-open Monday, April 5th at 7:30 or 8:00 a.m., according to Cathy DuPont.
All City of St. Augustine solid waste and recyclable pickups will remain as regularly scheduled.

St. Johns County reported to Historic City News that all County offices are closed on Friday, April 2nd, in observance of Good Friday. Also, all departments of the Board of County Commissioners will be closed on Monday, April 5th as an unpaid staff furlough day.
Due to their unique hours, library branches are observing the unpaid staff furlough day on Saturday, April 3rd. So, libraries will be closed Friday for Good Friday, Saturday for the furlough and Sunday as is their normal schedule. All libraries will resume normal hours on Monday, April 5th.
Essential Fire Rescue personnel are exempt from the furloughs. Additionally, employees of Constitutional Officers not under the jurisdiction of the Board of County Commissioners are not included in the furloughs, including the Sheriff, Clerk of the Court, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections.
