Bonnie Hayflick announced to Historic City News local entertainment reporters that Latitude 30, the First Coast’s 50,000 square foot, all-inclusive entertainment center, will open to the public on Thursday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m.
Latitude 30 is located at 10370 Phillips Highway across from The Avenues Mall in Jacksonville’s Southside.
Latitude 30 offers many desirable entertainment options, including the Sunset 30 Tavern & Grill with a covered, outdoor patio and bar, with fire pits, HD flat-screens and water features, a main bar with stage and dance floor, the latest in cutting-edge interactive video & prize games, a sports-theater, bowling lanes, an intimate movie cinema with food service opening in the Spring, and a Las Vegas-style showroom opening in February.
Latitude 30 promotes itself as a “one-stop destination” since it provides a way to satisfy all of the individual interests of a family or group of friends who want to spend time together.
“Currently, a night out or weekend get-together can involve driving from one place to another, making multiple stops, or trying to convince everyone to settle on the same choice,” said Managing Partner Brent Brown. “Latitude 30 will provide the convenience of multiple leisure options in one destination – a huge, upscale venue that offers excellent entertainment value.”
Founding Partner Damon Brush told Historic City News, “In addition to excellent food and service, we have created the ultimate mix of entertainment options for all ages to enjoy.”
Latitude 30 will feature performances ranging from children’s and youth-oriented programming during the day to headline music, comedy and magic performers in the evening to an ultra-lounge ambiance with DJs and VJs for a sophisticated nightlife experience.
“We will be bringing Las Vegas and New York caliber entertainment to northeast Florida,” Brush said.
Brown and Brush brought in industry experts from around the country to advise them about each aspect of the facility, leaving no detail overlooked in their quest to provide their guests with every possible convenience and comfort.
Guests will also experience state-of-the-art technology in Latitude 30 via ninety (90) HD TVs, a 144” primary HD screen in the Skybox sports theater, free ‘hassle-free’ high-speed WiFi including the Global Grid Social Media Xperience plus a 125 foot digital video canvas.
Initially, the operating hours announced for Latitude 30 are Sunday – Wednesday 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 midnight, Thursday – Friday 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
