Local wildlife rehabilitation facility and non-profit organization, Noah’s Ark, reported to Historic City News that they are holding an upcoming benefit, Help Float Noah’s Ark, at Genung’s Fish Camp, 291 Cubbedge Road in Crescent Beach.
Demonstrate your support on Tuesday, October 5th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. by joining Noah’s Ark Wildlife Rehabilitation and its dedicated volunteers for a casual evening on the river.
Local band Aslyn and the Naysayers will be playing some down home Americana tunes while guests enjoy local clams, freshly baked artisan bread, wine, beer, wildlife art and a silent auction.
Noah’s Ark President, Karen Lynch will be presenting a brief narrative on the history, rehabilitation of the animals they receive and the future goals of Noah’s Ark.
Noah’s Ark was founded in 1999 by Karen Lynch and its mission is to provide appropriate placement and care for wildlife needing help. Noah’s Ark is lacking funds for food, operating materials, housing and everyday needs for the animals they care for.
This benefit will raise awareness for the efforts of Noah’s Ark and to raise funds to continue those efforts to properly care for injured and sick wildlife.
