Letter: Please help Friends of A1A

Dear Editor:

You’ve probably heard me say it before—every day I am amazed at how far we have come with our vision for the A1A Byway.

Our community passion inspires many with energy to get things done to promote, preserve, protect and enhance our Old Florida coastal corridor from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway in St. Johns and Flagler Counties.

From your can-do attitudes to your generosity of spirit, it is because of you that Friends of A1A strives to achieve excellence. I am invigorated by the success of our collective volunteer efforts created for today and for our future generations.

As you gear up to support the causes you love this holiday season, please consider making a small gift to Friends of A1A today. With your help, we can continue to provide vital services to our coastal communities, which learn about our mission through our Web site ( www.scenica1a.org) , community involvement in outreach, education, preservation and safety to encourage eco-friendly visitors and development.

We are proud of the fact that thousands of travelers and residents listen to our message via our e-news, Cell Phone Audio Tour, and other printed materials. Lots of hard work, volunteer hours and resources go into making this possible.
