The St. Johns County local news desk has learned that 18 year-old Misty Janette Cummings and her 23 year-old brother Hank Thomas Croslin were arrested last night and booked locally on drug charges just before midnight.
Both Cummings and her brother report that the live at 116 Tyler St in Satsuma.
Misty Cummings gained notoriety last year as the babysitter of Haleigh; the missing 5 year-old daughter of Ronald Cummings.
On February 9th of 2009, Misty and Ronald Cummings lived in a house together with Haleigh — who hasn’t been seen since Misty says she tucked her in bed around 8:00 p.m. The two were married; several weeks after Haleigh disappeared, and spent part of their honeymoon in New York City, appearing on NBC’s The Today Show. They divorced from each other last fall.
Misty Cummings faces six counts of trafficking in prescription medications including Hydrocodone and Oxycodone. She’s being held on a $950,000 bond at the St. Johns County Detention Center under “medium security” conditions after completing her first appearance hearing this morning before Judge Charles Tinlin.

Ronald Cummings, Haleigh’s father, Hope Sykes, a cousin of Ronald Cummings, along with Donna Broch of Orlando, have also been arrested in this continuing narcotics investigation.
