Florida Native Plant Society Sea Oats Chapter President Renee Stambaugh, informed local Historic City News reporters of the upcoming June meeting of their organization.
“Our featured speaker is Beverly Fleming, University of Florida Master Naturalist Instructor,” Stambaugh said. “Come learn how native plants can enhance your landscape, economically.”
The program, “Made in the Shade”, is free and open to the public.
The local Sea Oats chapter of Florida Native Plant Society meets Tuesday, June 8th, 7:00 pm, at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall located at A1A and 16th Street.
Prizes include native plants donated by Leonardi’s Nursery and Southern Horticulture.
