St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce President Robin Burchfield, reported to the St. Johns County local news desk at Historic City News that a donation has been made to the International Business Academy at Ponte Vedra High School.
The Northeast Business Council, one of the area business councils that are part of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, donated a framed National Geographic World Map to the International Academy of Business and Marketing.
“Area Business Councils ensure the Chamber’s ability to address the localized opportunities and challenges unique to each part of our county”, Burchfield said.
On behalf of NEBC President Maureen B. Bellantoni, Immediate Past President Martha McClintock presented the donation to Marisa Leonard; who is a teacher at the academy.
Each area council has an elected board and general membership made up exclusively of Chamber members that either reside or conduct business in a particular geographically defined area.
The Northeast Business Council has been supporting the International Business Academy for the past year.
