A masked gunman walked into the Palm Coast Pharmacy on Pine Cone Drive Saturday morning and demanded drugs before fleeing from the store on foot, according to an alert received by the local news desk from Flagler County Sheriff’s Public Information Officer, Debra Johnson.
Flagler County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the robber who is described as a white male, 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black mask, a black hoodie pullover, tan cargo pants, white tennis shoes and white gloves.
Witnesses said the man entered the pharmacy around 11:58 a.m. and displayed a semi-automatic gun while demanding the drug Oxycodone and pain killers. He then fled on foot heading northwest from the building. The robber may have fled to a waiting car in the parking lot.
The Sheriff’s K-9 unit, Cane and handler Deputy Dominic Guida tracked the path to the parking lot. No injuries were reported in the incident.
“This occurred in a busy area during a busy time of day. Hopefully, someone saw this man and will come forward with information,” said Sheriff Donald W. Fleming.
