Traffic Division Manager Greg Kennedy reported to Historic City News that the St. Johns County’s Traffic Operations Section will host a public meeting to discuss traffic concerns for the Reef Drive community.
The meeting will be held on Monday, October 18th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the City of St. Augustine Beach City Hall Chamber, located at 2200 SR A1A South at the corner of 16th Street, St. Augustine Beach.
The meeting is part of the Traffic Calming Program and will allow County staff and concerned citizens to interact. This meeting is a follow-up on a previously held informal public meeting attended by several project initiators and staff.
Staff will discuss the details of the traffic calming process, as well as provide technical details regarding traffic speeds, traffic volumes and observed safety considerations.
Citizens will be able to share comments and concerns.
