St. Johns County Commissioner Ray Quinn participated in Saturday’s “Walk for our Troops” Festival, held at the Riverview Club in St. Augustine Shores according to a report received by Historic City News from Chris Bodor for Poet Plant Press.
“Friends, families and a founding father gathered for the July 3rd celebration,” Bodor said.
The event honored our local military with an Independence Day festival celebrating our Nations Birthday.
Participants enjoyed an open pool at the Riverview Club, fishing from the community pier, hot dogs, horseshoes, volleyball, a dunk tank and a Bounce House.
The highlight was an interactive one hour show featuring a live portrayal of Benjamin Franklin by actor Jeffry Gay.
