St. Johns County officials have notified Historic City News that drivers are urged to use extra caution on roadways and sidewalks tonight as another hard freeze warning is in effect from 10:00 p.m. Tuesday until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
The National Weather Service reports low temperatures are expected to be in the lower 20’s overnight.
The public is also urged to use caution when running irrigation and sprinkler systems, especially if water lands on a roadway or sidewalk. Water from sprinklers may freeze, causing potentially dangerous, icy conditions for motorists and pedestrians.
