Debra Bulak reported to the local news desk that the 2010 executive board has been elected for Romanza; a world-class, multi-day celebration of music, arts, theater, dance and food.
The board took office on March 2, 2010, at the first Romanza general membership meeting.
The event was attended by approximately 75 members and guests at the St. Augustine Yacht Club. All enjoyed a social evening of networking in addition to the brief installation ceremony. Fourteen of the guests were moved by the event to join Romanza on the spot.
The officers elected are:
Albert Syeles, Romanza CEO President; former AT&T Executive
Phebe Wehr, Vice President; also with First Coast Opera, Emma, St. Augustine Art Association, Limelight Theater; and formally The Great Connecticut Jazz Festival.
Brian Urquhart, Treasurer; also with the St. Augustine Yacht Club and formally co-founder/CFO of several corporations
Michelle Santorelli, Secretary; Graduate of Flagler College, Leadership Flagler, Society for Advancement of Management, YMCA Martial Arts Program
Three members-at-large are:
Ron Berry; owner of Lighthouse Marketing; stage performer in Vaudeville, advertising/marketing entrepreneur since 1981
Lorna MacDonald; owner/operator of the Raintree Restaurant, President of SAIRA (St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association)
Michael Cunningham; Board of St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, President of South Beaches Business Council; Brochure Displays/Digital Press
Romanza St. Augustine, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization coordinating a multi-day, multi-arts celebration centered in historic downtown St. Augustine, during ‘First America’, the upcoming St. Augustine 450th Commemoration.
