Scholarships for UF students who intern in DC

Historic City News has learned that the University of Florida Alumni Association of Greater Washington DC is awarding two (2) scholarships in the amount of $1,250 each to University of Florida students with unpaid internships in the DC metro area during the 2010 calendar year.

Scholarships will be awarded to students who clearly demonstrate exceptional academic achievement as well as professional promise and a commitment to community service.

Scholarship candidates must submit their college transcript and one-page resume by the application deadline, April 30, 2010. The application is available online at http://tinyurl.com/yj9ljco
