An alert to Historic City News readers that detectives are attempting to locate a 34 year-old St. Augustine woman who, family members say, has not been heard from since Friday, October 29th.
The woman, identified as Rebecca Ann Ware, is described as a white female, 5’10” tall, 200 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Ware, who resides on Phoenetia Drive in St. Augustine Shores, was last seen at 4:15 p.m. when she left her place of employment, Hydro America, located at 200 Riviera Boulevard in St. Augustine.
Family members reported Ware missing on Tuesday, November 2nd.
Detectives discovered her vehicle, a 2005 Ford Focus, Thursday evening in the parking lot of the Wildwood Road Publix Supermarket.
The vehicle was brought to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and, Thursday evening, technicians also processed the Ware home for any potential evidence.
Although Ware’s disappearance is suspicious, there is no evidence of foul play thus far, according to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Kelshaw. “Detectives are continuing the investigation,” Kelshaw told Historic City News.
Anyone who may have come in contact with Ware since last Friday afternoon, or, who may have additional information concerning this individual, should contact Detective Charles Brantley of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office at (904) 824-8304.
