Cathy DuPont notified local government reporters at Historic City News that the St. Augustine City Commission will meet in a workshop on Wednesday to review the future of the planned 450th Commemoration.
Although this is a public workshop and attendance is open, the commission is not expected to entertain public comments. The workshop is specifically for the purpose of complying with Florida’s government in the sunshine laws; allowing the mayor and city commissioners to discuss the present and future plan for the commemoration — outside of a regularly called meeting.
The public is invited to attend a workshop on First America: 450th Commemoration on Wednesday, July 21st at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Alcazar Room of City Hall located at 75 King Street.
For more information call Jamie Alvarez in the 450th Commemoration office at 209.4226.
