Historic City News readers are being invited to help Wade and Amy Taylor raise money and awareness for Big Brothers-Big Sisters of St. Johns County.
The 16th Annual “Tips for Kid’s Sake” dinner will provide an opportunity to enjoy a great dinner, be entertained and support a good cause, all at the same time. The Taylor’s will be “celebrity waiters” at Barnacle Bills Beachside on February 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
This ever popular event places celebrity waiters at restaurants where they serve tables — all their tips go to Big Brothers-Big Sisters of St. Johns County. “We are so grateful to our celebrity waiters, many of whom step out of their comfort zone to volunteer their time as a waiter for this event. They truly are the ones who make this successful,” says Fund Development Director Teresa Andrews.
“Please come out and join us for some fun and Philanthropy,” the Taylor’s said. You may make reservations by calling 471-2434 and ask to be seated in Wade and Amy Taylor’s section.
Reservations are strongly encouraged for those folks who would like to attend Tips for Kids Sake. Celebrity waiters are being encouraged to dress in a costume — and this year’s theme is “People in the News”.
