Carlisle Interconnect Technologies is headquartered in Saint Augustine, Florida, with multiple factories located around the world. The expansion comprises twenty thousand square feet of manufacturing, training and office space as well as additional parking and a storm water retention pond.
St. Johns County officials are pleased to support Carlisle Interconnect Technologies ’s expansion and the positive economic impact it will have. “This project is one of the first tangible results of St. Johns County’s renewed emphasis on economic development,” said County Administrator Michael Wanchick. “We successfully met their condensed schedule to begin construction and we look forward to a continued relationship with Carlisle Interconnect Technologies.”
Carlisle Interconnect Technologies ’s President, John Berlin says the expansion represents strong company growth in the aerospace and military markets.
Among other things, the international company, which employs about 1900 people worldwide and 354 in St. Johns County, is recognized as a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance wire and cable including fiber; RF/Microwave, specialty and filtered connectors; cable assemblies, racks and shelf assemblies; and offers engineering and certification services.
