Housing Finance Authority
Two (2) VacanciesPurpose of Committee: Increase the supply of affordable housing opportunities through tax-exempt and taxable bonds and other available program resources.
Qualifications: Seeking members knowledgeable in the fields of commerce, labor and finance. Members must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: This Authority meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 3:00 pm in the Housing & Community Services Conference Room, 102 Martin Luther King Avenue. Additional weekly meetings are noticed during the administration and implementation of the CWHIP grant.
Application Submission Deadline: April 18, 2011.
Industrial Development Authority
One (1) VacancyPurpose of Committee: Created for the purpose of financing and refinancing projects for the public purpose described and in the manner provided by Florida Industrial Development Financing Act to foster economic development within St. Johns County.
Qualifications: Prefer representation from County Commission District 3. Must be a registered voter in St. Johns County. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: This Authority meets as needed on the 3rd Monday of every other month from 3-5pm in the BOCC Executive Board Conference Room, 500 San Sebastian View.

Ponte Vedra Architectural Review Committee
Two (2) Vacancies – Regular & Alternate PositionPurpose of Committee: Ensure enhanced property development while maintaining and encouraging quality character of design within the Ponte Vedra and Ponte Vedra/Palm Valley Overlay Districts in line with the goals and objectives of the St. Johns County Comprehensive Plan.
Qualifications: Seeking a regular member residing in the Coastal Corridor Overlay District and an alternate member residing in the Ponte Vedra Zoning District. Members must be a registered voter in St. Johns County.
Meeting schedule: This Committee meets the 4th Wednesday of each month from 5-8:30 pm in the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

Ponte Vedra Zoning & Adjustment Board
One (1) VacancyPurpose of Committee: Regulate and restrict the height and size of buildings; to regulate and restrict the intensity of land use; to regulate the area of yards, courts and other space about buildings, to classify, regulate and restrict the location of commerce and industries and the location of buildings designed for specified industrial, commercial, residential and other uses within the Ponte Vedra Zoning District.
Qualifications: Must be a registered voter in St Johns County and reside in the Ponte Vedra Zoning District. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: This Board meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 3:00 pm in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.

Mid-Anastasia Island Design Review Board
One (1) VacancyPurpose of Committee: Determine compliance with Part 3.08.07-3.08.09 of the Land Development Code regarding signage requirements, design review guidelines, and design elements/materials within the Mid-Anastasia Overlay District.
Qualifications: Seeking members qualified through the demonstration of special interest, experience or education in design, architecture or history of the Mid-Anastasia community. Members must live within the Overlay District, which encompasses all that land situated within unincorporated St. Johns County extending from the entrance of Anastasia State Park on the north, extending to Owens Avenue on the south, the Matanzas River on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east. Members must file financial disclosure.
Meeting schedule: This Board meets the second Thursday of every month from 2-5pm in the Anastasia Island Branch Library.

Recreation Advisory Board
Three (3) VacanciesPurpose of Committee: An advisory committee that provides a sounding board for new ideas, assist in solving problems, act as liaison when called upon to other governmental bodies, represent the Recreation and Parks Department’s posture on sensitive issues in the public arena and to assist in the establishment and carrying out of goals and objectives and budget preparation to provide leisure time programs and facilities.
Qualifications: Seeking representation from County Commission Districts 2, 4 & 5.
Meeting schedule: This Board meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 3:00 pm in the Board of County Commissioners Executive Board Room, 500 San Sebastian View.
