Commission and School Board voting districts

Supervisor of Elections, Vicky Oakes, announced to Historic City News readers that tomorrow evening, November 1, 2011 at 6:00 p.m., a Special Joint Meeting to review public input from the District 1-5 Town Hall Redistricting meetings will be held and additional revised plans will be reviewed.

The Board of County Commissioners and the School Board will convene at the County Auditorium inside the St. Johns County Administration Building located at 500 San Sebastian View in St. Augustine.

Three new redistricting plans are now available on the Supervisor of Elections website http://www.sjcvotes.us/Redist.htm

The three (3) plans are Revisions of original plans made per public input at the District 1-5 Public hearings over the last couple of weeks. They are titled Revised plan C, revised plan 210- C, and Revised plan E.

Maps and additional information will be available at tomorrow night’s meeting, Oakes said.
