Cyprian Center registration this week
Executive Director Lynn Waugh Straughan announced to Historic City News that registration begins tomorrow through January 7th for the winter session of classes at Cyprian Center for Expressive Arts.
Straughan suggested, “As you are making your New Year’s Resolutions, why not include a commitment to bring a little more art into your life — and that of those you love.”
Classes will begin at the Cyprian Center during the week of January 10th.
Thanks to funds made available to the non-profit, charitable organization through grants, two classes, the “Breakfast Club” and the “Journey into Light”, are being offered at no cost — subject to available seating.
The Cyprian Center supports programs in visual, lively and expressive arts to enhance personal and community spirit.
“There is something for just about everyone,” Straughan told Historic City News. “We offer affordable enrichment activities for both children and adults.”
Some past and current classes at The Cyprian Center include; Mixed Media Art, Paper Crafts, Drawing, Mosaics, Photography, Stained Glass, Clay Projects, Songs in Sign Language, Guitar, Keyboard/Piano, Voice, and Yoga.
