Nearly everyone in St. Johns County got a raise this morning when Florida’s minimum wage was increased by 6¢ — to a staggering $7.31 per hour.
Saloon keepers and serving wenches get the extra 6¢, too. The new minimum wage for workers who earn tips has increased from $4.23 to $4.29 per hour effective today.
Where will they find the time to spend the extra estimated $128 each year?
It was a rhetorical question —
