St. Augustine Tea Party reported to Historic City News that they will join with the Tea Party Network of Florida and FairTax Florida for a special “Forward with the Constitution” rally being held at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds.
Guests can buy something patriotic April 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from one of the vendors, or, visit us at our booth or with the Tea Party groups, Fair Tax of Northeast Florida and other Conservative groups in the area.
Speakers include:
Florida Governor Rick Scott, Lt. Governor Jennifer Carroll, CFO Jeff Atwater, Senator John Thrasher, SenatePresident and U.S. Senate candidate Mike Haridopolos, U.S. Senate Candidate Col. Mike McCalister, KrisAnne Hall – a former prosecutor, fired forspeaking on the Constitution at
Tea Party Rallies, Mark Gupton of Florida Fair Tax, Frantz Kebreau- Author of Stolen History.
The St. Augustine Tea Party is a citizen group that advocates values based on:
-Constitutional Government
-Limited Government
-Fiscal Responsibility
Eric West, the chairman of the local group, told Historic City News, “We welcome like minded patriots looking to reassert their values into the government of the United States.”
Every Tuesday night the Tea Party members start their meeting at 6:30 p.m. and typically finish by 8:00 p.m. (or so) at the Village Inn in St. Augustine on Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
The St. Augustine Tea Party believes in limited constitutional government. They see lower taxes and lower government spending as the salvation of the free enterprise system in our country.
