When the St Augustine City Commission convenes it special 3:30 session to discuss the upcoming 450th commemoration activities, City Manager John Regan who requested the additional 90-minute workshops in the first place, will lead a discussion regarding changing the meeting time to 5:00 p.m.
Also, Regan is set to ask commissioners whether it is their preference to continue meeting twice monthly or to add a place on the Commission Regular Meeting Agenda for discussion of Commemoration items.
During the meeting, commissioners will hear a status report on the Federal 450th Commission and the Maritime Heritage Signature Event; Stanley Paris’ Around the World Sailing Champion Race alliance.
A Memorandum of Understanding relevant to use of the 450th Commemoration Logo will be submitted for approval.
Two agreements will come before the commission, a Vendor Agreement with EMMA Concert Association, Inc. and an Alliance Agreement with The Player’s Championship.
If you are planning to attend — the special St. Augustine City Commission meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. Monday and will be held in the Alcazar Room; on the first floor of City Hall, located at 75 King Street in St. Augustine. It will not be broadcast.
