For seventy years, St. Johns County residents have had a love affair with the nimble and agile Jeep — including Historic City News Editor, Michael Gold.
Gold’s favorite quote about his favorite vehicle is, “It’s not about what you can get into — it’s about what you can get out of.”
From the original 1941 combat-decorated Willy’s MB to today’s freewheeling Wrangler, every Jeep vehicle has been engineered to go where most wouldn’t dare.
“We are fortunate to live in one of the last counties in the state where you can still drive on the beach,” Gold said. “Thanks to my trusty Jeep, I can enjoy every part of them.”
