Snack ‘n Yak
Fridays, September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 @ 10 am – Join us for coffee, juice, and snacks. Children may play while adults relax, browse the library, or use the computers.
Family Storytime
Fridays, September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 @ 10:30 am – Join us for stories, music, puppets and a craft.
Stay ‘n Play
Fridays, September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 @ 11 am – There’s no need to rush out the door after storytime. Adults may stay and socialize, browse the library, or use the computers while their children play.
Kids Craft: “Peace Pole Decorations”
Wednesday, September 7 @ 3:30 pm – Kids of all ages are invited to craft their own symbols of peace in anticipation of the September 21st Day of Peace. Artwork may be left at the library to become part of a “peace pole” to be erected on Wednesday, September 21st.

International Day of Peace
Wednesday, September 14 @ 2 pm – Join the Hastings Library at the Walter E. Harris Community Center to form a human peace sign. An aerial photo will be taken and submitted for publication to the local newspapers. There will also be activities for children and teens. For more information please call 904-827-6970.
