The St. Augustine Humane Society is recruiting and training volunteers to provide a variety of services to the non-profit organization.
To obtain an application and waiver form, click on the “Volunteer” tab on their website at www.stauguhumane.org
Volunteers who are 17 years of age and older may submit an application.
Some of the areas where volunteers are needed include reception area, administration, spay shuttle operations, events, fundraising, humane education, newsletter, website, pet food bank, landscape design, facility maintenance and building renovations.
Applications can be:
-submitted online
-printed forms can be mailed or faxed
-visit the facility to apply during the following hours:Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The St. Augustine Humane Society promotes responsible pet ownership and strengthens the human-animal bond through education and training; works to reduce the relinquishment rate of pets to shelters through assistance services and through effective, affordable spay and neuter efforts; and is a resource center for the citizens and animals of St. Johns County, Florida.
