Sea Oats Chapter Vice President George Waters reported to Historic City News that the Florida Native Plant Society would hold their next meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15 at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall located at 2200 A1A South.
The evening’s program will be “Native Plant Edibles”.
“Be prepared to try some new edibles when fellow member and Slow Food First Coast representative Joan Kramer shares some of our region’s native and heritage plants that we can grow to sustain ourselves with local food,” Waters said.
Monthly meetings and programs of the Sea Oats Chapter are held on the third Tuesday of the month, and are open to the public, free of charge.
