Native plant consultant Renee Stambaugh told Historic City News reporters that she would participate in a panel discussion that features City of St. Augustine Master Arborists and retired University of Florida Extension Agent, Chuck Lippi, on October 20, 2011.
Lippi is one of only eight Board Certified Master Arborists in Florida.
Lippi will offer instruction on keeping the trees in our landscapes beautiful and healthy for generations to come. The audience will learn about proper tree pruning and maintenance; hosted by the St. Johns County Extension Service.
In addition to Lippi, the panelist will include Gail Compton, nature columnist; Beverly Fleming, Master Gardener; and Renee Stambaugh, native plant consultant, regarding proper selection of trees for your landscape.
Plan to attend the presentation and panel discussion being held at the St. Johns County Agricultural Building Auditorium located at 3125 Agricultural Center Drive in St. Augustine on October 20, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This class is free, open to the public and includes a native plant sale featuring trees and shrubs.
