St. Augustine auctioneer, Cory Mara, announced to Historic City News that he has several liquidation lots that will hit the auction block tonight, Thursday April 21st at 6:00 p.m. at 5 West San Carlos Avenue.
When a retail store holds a liquidation sale due to a store closing, not all inventories can be sold — even at deeply discounted prices. St. Augustine Auctioneers takes remaining stock, packages it into lots, and then places it into a live auction for final sale.
“All items will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price,” Mara told Historic City News this morning.
Tonight’s lots can be viewed on the St. Augustine Auctioneers website — some of the lots include brand new inventory from a recent store closure in St. Augustine.
Tonight’s auction also includes an assortment of retail clothing racks, shelves and other fixtures that you would find in a retail store.
There is plenty of free parking on site at the St. Augustine Thrift Store building, across San Carlos Avenue from the St. Johns County Public Library and Davenport Park. Inventory can be previewed one hour prior to the auction.
St. Augustine Auctioneers will accept VISA, MasterCard and check cards with the VISA or MasterCard logo as payment for winning bids. For more information, contact St. Augustine Auctioneers by calling (904) 826-1301. Cory Mara, Florida Licensed Auctioneer #AU3843
