Renee Stambaugh, President of the local Sea Oats Chapter of Florida Native Plant Society, announced to Historic City News that the program for their March meeting will be “Gardening For (Wild) Life”.
The meeting will convene at 7:00 p.m. on March 15th at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall.
“With springtime emerging,” Stambaugh points out, “what a great time to learn how our landscapes can attract and sustain birds, butterflies, and other wildlife.”
Elizabeth Flynn, Habitat Steward with the National Wildlife Federation, will present the process of creating a Certified Backyard Habitat, allowing our yards, and ourselves, to come alive.
This program is free, open to the public and includes prizes of native plants.
